Embracing the journey, empowering families
Welcome to the Antenatal & Postnatal Psychology Network, a collaboration of Victorian psychologists dedicated to supporting hopeful, expectant, and new parents through the challenges of the childbearing and child-rearing years. We understand the struggles that come with this journey and are committed to providing compassionate, non-judgemental, and evidence-based care to help you navigate these times.
Our network is recognised for its qualifications, training, and expertise in the field of perinatal mental health, perinatal grief and loss, and early years parenting. We are proud to welcome people from the LGBTQIA+ community and offer personalised contact options to help you find the psychologist that best suits your needs.
Services Offered
We offer a range of services to support you during conception and fertility, pregnancy decision-making, pregnancy, childbirth, the postnatal period, parenting and child, difficult diagnoses, miscarriage and loss, gender disappointment, couple relationship, family relationships, and work-related stress. Our psychologists are experienced in helping people manage anxiety, stress, depression, worry, exhaustion, grief, and adjustment difficulties during these times.
We understand that seeking help can be daunting, which is why we provide a warm and personalised service. You can make direct, confidential contact with the therapist of your choosing, either by phone, text, or email. Our psychologists and their locations are listed below, and you can click on the image to read more about each psychologist. When you have selected your psychologist, please phone them directly to discuss your needs, enquire about availability, fees, and rebates, determine whether their style of practice is compatible with what you are seeking, and book your appointment/s.
Most of our psychologists provide Telehealth (online counselling) to all Victorians, so if you are a far distance from where our psychologists are located, or if getting to in-person appointments is difficult, we are still here to help.
