Friday Yoga Classes
Our Friday 11am yoga class has been a staple for almost a decade, running uninterrupted even on public holidays. This gentle (yin) yoga class is highly valued by our long-term regular students as a form of maintenance, indicating its gentle and therapeutic nature. Over the years, I have observed that long-term, very regular gentle yoga creates subtle changes in our physiology, leading to a happier and healthier life. The class focuses on very gentle stretches combined with breathwork, aiming to bring you home to your body, calm erratic thinking, balance your blood-gasses, oxygenate your mind/body, and change your brain waves from frantic to grounded. The class is $20 per regular weekly session, and all are welcome, including beginners. Please text to confirm your attendance.

We offer private yoga classes tailored to your specific needs. These sessions are ideal for those seeking a more personalised approach to their yoga practice. All are welcome, regardless of experience or flexibility. Parking is available on the street.

Far Infrared Sauna
Our far infrared sauna is a spacious 2-seater with long glass panels, ensuring a comfortable and non-claustrophobic experience. Most of my regular students use the sauna for about 20 minutes during the first part of the class in meditation with clothes on. The science behind far infrared saunas suggests that they create an alkaline environment in the body, encouraging rapid detox, easy weight loss, and muscle healing. In my personal experience, it has been a game-changer.
About Libby
Libby's journey into yoga began in the 1970s when she acquired a pelvic injury during her ballet training with the National Theatre in St. Kilda. With more than three decades of experience as a Yoga, Meditation, and Pilates instructor, Libby has held numerous community and corporate retreats and operates a small Yoga school in Australia's Yarra Valley since 1999. She has also studied permaculture, herbalism, and iridology and is passionate about the body's capacity to overcome disease. Libby's intent is to be of use to you, to build you up, and to help you realise your own healing capabilities.
Libby's Love Affair with Yoga
Libby's first Iyengar yoga class at Melbourne University was a transformative experience. The class was fabulous, and her back felt great. She was hooked. Yoga appealed to her in ways she didn't understand, and she has been passionately exploring its depths ever since.
