Our founders, Jean and Rob, are committed to empowering people to find balance and have a deeper encounter with their life. They live in the Perth hills with their two sons and have been practicing yoga and meditation for 27 years. Jean and Rob have dedicated their lives to integrating ancient wisdom with evidence-based research to empower people to take control of their wellbeing.

As a result, Yoga Space offers a range of services that cater to individuals from all walks of life. Our Teacher Training program is the gold standard of yoga teacher training worldwide. Our course is meticulously crafted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of yoga and equip them with the skills to become a teacher for life. We also offer Classes & Memberships, which provide individuals with a supportive community and a diverse range of yoga classes and workshops.

In addition to these services, Yoga Space offers Online Yoga programs and Retreats that provide participants with a transformative experience of self-discovery and soul-enriching experiences. Our courses are designed to support personal growth and provide individuals with the tools to manage stress, overcome anxiety, and cultivate inner peace.

Meet Our Founders

Jean Byrne PhD is a Research Fellow, Yoga Therapist, and Yoga Teacher who has spent years studying yoga and meditation in India, Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia. Her daily yoga practice helps her live a meaningful life in the midst of the beautiful chaos that is family life. Rob Schutze PhD is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Research Fellow at Curtin University with a passion for the mind-body connection. His holistic approach integrates psychology and yoga to empower people to take control of their wellbeing.
