Our Beginnings
Born from a passion for aerial arts, Aerial Sports opened its doors in 2015 with a single silks class and a small yet dedicated group of students. Driven by a vision to share the joy of aerial acrobatics, we steadily grew, adding new apparatus and classes to our offerings. Today, we stand as a thriving community of aerial enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
What We Offer
Our diverse range of aerial and circus classes cater to every interest and physical ability. Choose from:
- Aerial Silks: Learn graceful movements and exhilarating hangs while developing upper body strength and flexibility.
- Lyra: Dance on a soft, suspended fabric, mastering graceful aerial maneuvers and building core strength.
- Static Trapeze: Hone your aerial awareness and body control, building strength and agility.

Beyond physical practice, Aerial Sports fosters a nurturing and supportive environment. We regularly host showcase events where students can proudly demonstrate their progress and celebrate their achievements. Our studio also embraces a holistic approach to wellness, offering:
- Wellness Hub: Explore healing sessions, sound baths, women's circles, and other workshops for mind and body connection.
Performance & Collaboration
Passionate about sharing our love for aerial arts, we offer professional aerialists for hire for events, festivals, and shows. We are also home to Cirque de CBR, Canberra's own aerial acrobatics and circus troupe, who perform at various local and regional events.
