Our story began in 2008 when our co-founders, Lukas and Emily Chodat, followed their passion and pursued a career in the fitness industry. Lukas, an Illawarra local, holds numerous local and national sprinting and athletic accolades, while Emily brings a solid understanding of business development and a holistic approach to health, fitness, and wellness.
Our Mission
Our mission is to coach people of all ages and abilities to achieve their health, fitness, and sporting goals in a dynamic and professional environment. We aim to make a difference within our community by spreading the word of fitness, health, and wellbeing. We believe that fitness is not just about physical health, but also about mental wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth.
Services
We offer a range of services, including personal training, group fitness classes, and sports coaching. Our outdoor group training sessions deliver a fitness workout that is achievable for all fitness levels and ages. We cater for youths through to adults, and our classes range from interval running and fitness, boxing, cross-training, sports rehab, muscle toning, circuit classes, and stretch/core focused programs.
We are also the Illawarra's leading sprints and sports specific coaching provider. We cater for youths through to adults, and our services include regular group sessions and one-on-one coaching at Beaton Park Leisure Centre athletics track. Our focus is on improving speed, agility, and coordination.

We have a proven track record of achieving results with our services. We have helped hundreds of clients shed unwanted kilos, tone up, or have their body ready for a specific event. We have also worked with clients who have been injured or need to recover from an injury. Additionally, we have helped clients maintain a healthy life balance or recover from an illness.
Community Involvement
Team Chodat is committed to giving back to the community. We participate in and sponsor many community and national events. We have a strong partnership with the Australian Institute of Fitness and the University of Wollongong, and we regularly mentor high school students through work experience placements.
