ACT Shotokan Karate is a Dojo of Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA) that practices traditional Japanese Karate (restricted contact), as passed down from Kanazawa Soke. We train at the Belconnen Community Centre from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and have an advanced techniques session from 5pm to 7pm on Sundays. We are affiliated with the Australasian Federation of Traditional Karate and Kobudo (AFTK), and actively participate in interstate and international Karate seminars and tournaments. Our instructors include Sensei Mark Porreca, Sensei Wally Dankiw, and Sempai Hideo Sasaki, among others. We welcome new students and invite them to join us on an incredible journey.
