Empowering individuals to grow and thrive

Welcome to Grow Psychology, a practice dedicated to helping children thrive and adults grow. We are moving from our location at 13, Kalinda Road in Croydon, as of August 28th 2023. During September, appointments will be conducted via Zoom only as we prepare our new location.

Our practice is led by Dr Jari Evertsz, a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in clinical, forensic, hospital, and policy settings. Jari holds a PhD from The University of Melbourne and has received numerous awards for her work, including The National Violence Prevention Award (Overall National Award). She has worked with government bodies, welfare agencies, hospitals, and various NGOs, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice.

Jari's areas of work include consultancy to large organisations, government departments, and NGOs, training and supervision, complex anxiety (both in adults and children), depression and mood disorders, victims of crime, child assessments, autism and ADHD, difficult behaviours in preschool and primary-age children, young children and preschoolers, NDIS preschoolers, and healthy ageing.

Our team also includes Marina Tidmarsh, who brings her skills in administration and training to our practice. Marina has previously managed two medical practices and has experience working as an Ecologist, having spent time in the Central American jungle studying jaguars and sea turtles. She is also an experienced equestrian and enjoys teaching horse riding to teens and children.

Keeley Green is our Office Administrator, assisting clients with their bookings, Medicare, NDIS, scheduling and technical issues. Keeley's warm and calm approach helps everyone to feel at ease. In her spare time, Keeley is an expert in Pilates, bringing a wide knowledge of health and administration issues to our practice.

Our Services

At Grow Psychology, we provide a range of services to support children and adults. We are registered with Medicare, VOCAT, WorkCover, NDIS and TAC programs and offer telehealth treatments. We are also able to provide services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Therapeutic Support and Early Intervention categories.

We provide support under a range of government support schemes and welcome self-referrals, as well as referrals from GPs, psychiatrists, or paediatricians. Our services include:

  • Psychological Therapies: We offer diverse types of intervention, all of which have been extensively trialled and empirically validated. Our approach is never one-size-fits-all, and we choose the best-indicated approach for each person's unique circumstances.
  • Assessment: We provide comprehensive assessments for children and adults, including cognitive, behavioural, and emotional assessments.
  • Supervision: Dr Jari Evertsz is an accredited Clinical Psychology Supervisor for AHPRA and the Australian Psychological Society, providing clinical supervision to psychologists and other mental health professionals.
  • TAC and WorkCover: We provide support for individuals who have been injured at work or in a transport accident.
  • Victims of Crime: We provide support for individuals who have been victims of crime, including counselling and therapy.
  • Telehealth: We offer telehealth appointments for clients who are unable to attend in-person appointments.
  • NDIS: We are registered to provide services under the NDIS and have extensive experience working with NDIS participants.

At Grow Psychology, we are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to support children and adults. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands which host our clinics: The Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to their elders past, present, and emerging.
