Our Services

Orthotics

Orthotics are inserts that go inside your shoes to provide support and alignment for your feet. At Gosnells Podiatry & Orthotics, we prescribe custom-made orthotics that are specifically designed to meet your individual needs. Depending on your requirements, orthotics can range from very soft to very hard, short to long, thick to thin. They can:

• Reduce stress, traction and pain to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia
• Support your foot arches
• Assist in injury recovery and rehabilitation
• Cushion and reduce areas of excess pressure
• Slow down painful foot motion to alleviate pain
• Improve the alignment of foot joints

We have our own purpose-built orthotic lab, which allows us to assess your feet, prescribe your orthotics, and manufacture them with expert precision. This ensures that you receive the best possible care and attention for your feet.

Footwear

At Gosnells Podiatry & Orthotics, we proudly stock a range of excellent comfort footwear from slip-on slides and thongs to super comfortable lace-up and Velcro walking shoes. We are agents for Orthaheel, Archies, Revere, and the highly regarded Dr. Comfort medical grade footwear range. Our range of footwear is carefully selected to provide maximum comfort, support, and durability for our clients.

Most of our products are available to view and try on in our clinic, and you are welcome to pop in and try our range with no appointment necessary. We also have a selection of products that are not held in stock but can be ordered.

Referrals

While we do welcome referrals from doctors and other health professionals, you do not need a referral to visit us at Gosnells Podiatry & Orthotics. Podiatry rebates are available from all health funds on the ancillary or extras tables, and we have HICAPS to enable your private insurance claim to be processed at the time of treatment. We also accept medicare rebates for clients with specific medical problems who are eligible for rebates. Veterans affairs gold card holders can receive podiatry treatment free of charge.
