Our journey began when sisters, Kate and Beth McDermott, established the school to share their passion for dance with the community. The name "Caper" is derived from the French word for a playful leap or form of movement, reflecting the culture of our school. Kate and Beth's journey to opening Caper School of Performing Arts dates back to their childhood, when they dreamed of creating a dance studio that they would have loved to attend as students.
