Established in 1982, Lenton Brae is a family-owned winery situated in the heart of Wilyabrup, just north of the beautiful Margaret River. With recent renovations, our winery has been rejuvenated to showcase the picturesque views of the region. Our cellar door offers large bay windows overlooking our lake, adorned with ducks and native birds. During the summer months, you can enjoy the outdoors at our shaded tables, while in winter, our cosy fireplaces provide a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Our Wines
At Lenton Brae, we specialise in producing premium, small-batch wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Wilyabrup region. Our grapes are grown in loamy gravel soils, providing excellent constitution and drainage, and are situated only a stone's throw away from the Indian Ocean. This mild and consistent Mediterranean climate, combined with our traditional and innovative winemaking techniques, results in exceptional wines. We offer a range of varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, from different vintages, going all the way back to 1987! We are also the sole producers of Pinot Blanc in WA, a variety originally from Alsace (France). Our offerings are constantly evolving, with new wines being added regularly.
Our current vintage of SSB, a true favourite with our regulars, is one of our most popular wines. We are also increasing our production of premium, small-batch wines, including new wines in the In Good Hands range, which currently include a Marsanne and a Chenin Blanc.
Wine Tasting
If you're looking to discover a combination of tradition and innovation, come in for a tasting of our wines. Our Wilyabrup Chardonnay is made bright with a tight acid structure, while the Cabernet Merlot is made in a medium-bodied and restrained Margaret River style. We offer wine tastings every day of the week, from 10am-5pm. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through our range and help you find the perfect wine for your palate.
On-site Deli
In addition to our wines, we offer an on-site deli that is perfect for a grazing lunch, afternoon snack, or even a take-home treat for you and your loved ones. Our gourmet goodies are locally sourced from the Margaret River region, supporting local producers. With a variety of local cheeses, dips, charcuteries, preserves, breads, crackers, and sweets, there is something to suit all palates.
