As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we would like to share with you the story of our journey, from the humble beginnings of our founding winemaker, Dr. Tom Cullity, to our current standing as one of the premier wine estates in Margaret River, Western Australia. The Wine Journey
Vasse Felix was established in 1967 by Dr. Tom Cullity, a pioneering winemaker who had a vision to create premium wines in the Margaret River region. With his knowledge of the region's unique terroir and climate, Tom was convinced that the region could produce outstanding wines. With its pristine isolation, ancient lands, and maritime influence, Margaret River is an ideal environment for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our vineyards are strategically located in three distinct sites, each with its own unique characteristics, soil, and climate, to produce wines that are truly exceptional.
