Italian Cooking School & Enoteca in Barossa
Established in 2012, Casa Carboni was founded by Matteo and Fiona Carboni, who bring decades of combined experience in culinary arts, food science, and wine expertise. Our journey began in Emilia Romagna, Italy, where Matteo learned traditional Italian cooking from his grandmother before studying Food Science in Bologna and working across Europe. Fionas passion for food and wine developed through global travels and roles in Australian wineries and Italian food export. Together, we relocated to Barossa in 2012, leveraging our deep industry knowledge to create an immersive Italian cooking school and enoteca. Our mission is to share authentic Italian cuisine using local Barossa produce, paired with European wines, in a welcoming environment that fosters learning, community, and cultural exchange. With over a decade of operation, we remain committed to delivering hands-on culinary education, exceptional hospitality, and a celebration of seasonal ingredients.
