Course Conditions
The course conditions have been a major letdown for some reviewers. Sjm Pars described the course as "trash" with tee boxes that are just dirt, clumps of mowed grass left in fairways, and greens with no grass in some places. Kenneth Brehaut also mentioned that the fairways had many bare spots and the bunkers were washed out.
Pace of Play
The pace of play has been an issue for some reviewers. Cameron Decristofaro mentioned that it took 5.5 hours to play 17 holes due to a slow group in front of them, and they had to wrap up one hole early because it got too dark. Ken Stapleton also mentioned that they finished their round after 6 pm, which is unacceptable.
Staff and Management
Some reviewers have criticized the staff and management of the course. Cameron Decristofaro mentioned that the greens keepers did a great job, but whoever is in charge of the tee times has no idea what they're doing. Ken Stapleton was also unhappy with the lack of drinking water available on the course.
Layout and Scenery
On a more positive note, the layout and scenery of the course have been praised by some reviewers. Andrew Smith mentioned that the course is challenging at times, but the scenery is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Judi Kirk also mentioned that the topography is beautiful, with challenging varied green tiers throughout.
Food and Beverage
Some reviewers have mentioned that the food is delicious, but the beverage cart service could be improved. Bill mentioned that the food was great, but Ken Stapleton only saw the beverage cart once on the front nine.
