Food and Ambiance
The reviews of East Bank Cafe provide a mixed bag of opinions on the food, service, and ambiance. While some reviewers enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere, others were disappointed with the portion sizes and charging for basic condiments.
Highlights
Gayle Grieger raved about the pumpkin and goats cheese ravioli, describing it as divine. Debbie Edwards praised the fish and chips, while Rio enjoyed the kangaroo filets and beetroot risotto. Lynne Lee shared her pleasure with the ocean trout bruschetta, pizza, and side salad, saying the prices were reasonable considering the location.
Drawbacks
Pankaj was shocked to see a charge for chili oil and an additional 10% weekend surcharge, which he considered an absolute rip-off. Jai Ganesh thought the taste of the vegetarian items was not typical Italian but okay. Sen Sen found the portions a bit small compared to prices and services. Sharvari Peshave was relatively pleased with the food, but mentioned some items were just okay.
