Who I am

I am Janiene Wilson, a registered clinical psychologist with extensive experience in treating a diverse range of mental health concerns. My formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Arts in Psychology, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Relational Enhancement and a Bachelor of Therapy. I am a proud member of the College of Clinical Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society and the NSW Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

My Approach to Therapy

I employ a psychoanalytic approach to therapy, which emphasizes understanding the unconscious influences and pressures that can contribute to mental distress. My focus is on collaboratively uncovering the root causes of your difficulties and empowering you to develop effective coping mechanisms. I believe in a collaborative approach, where we work together to explore your concerns and achieve lasting change.
