Our History

New Life Dry Cleaners has a rich history and heritage as a specialist dry cleaner of curtains and window furnishings. Established in 1946 in Guilford, Sydney NSW, the company has grown and evolved over the years. In 1953, the company established a division called New Mode to clean stage curtains and theatrical costumes. In 2003, New Life Dry Cleaners acquired its major competitor Tasman Dry Cleaners, which specialised in commercial cleaning for hospitals and theatres. The company relocated to its current premises in Gladesville, Sydney NSW in January 2005 to house its state-of-the-art equipment and to facilitate its growing customer base.
