Svastha, meaning "complete health and balance" in Sanskrit, encapsulates our philosophy and approach towards holistic wellness. The Svastha organization was founded in Chennai, India, in 1989 by A.G. Mohan and his wife, Indra Mohan, both of whom were personal students of the revered 20th century yogi, Sri T. Krishnamacharya. Today, Svastha has an international presence and continues to be an authoritative and accessible source of authentic yoga and Ayurveda.

Meet Paula

Paula Carey, the dedicated force behind Svastha Yoga Gold Coast, has been practicing yoga since 1993 and teaching since 2000. She completed her initial Diploma in Yoga Teaching with the International Yoga Teachers' Association (IYTA) in 2001. Over the years, Paula has immersed herself in the yogic journey, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her passion for yoga has culminated in an extensive range of qualifications and certifications, including the Svastha Yoga Therapy 300-hour program with Dr. Ganesh Mohan.
