Our Story

Finance Edge was founded by Galvin Dawson, who has been in the mortgage broking industry since 2003. With numerous awards from Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA), PLAN Autralia (PLAN), and Citibank, Galvin Dawson is a Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number: 399481) of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence No: 391237).

Before entering the finance industry, Galvin completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2000, graduating with First Class Honours with a major in Geology. Galvin soon found his calling and joined his father's mortgage broking business and it was here where his father shared his experience, values, and knowledge that Galvin now benefits from today.

Emile Dawson, our Business Development Manager, has more than 30 years' experience in the banking and finance industry. Emile worked as a branch manager at ANZ Bank before starting his own broking business where he has achieved great success over the years. Emile is now the Business Development Manager at Finance Edge where he relishes the opportunity to speak with clients and assist them in achieving their financial goals.

At Finance Edge, we take pride in our commitment to supporting our local community. We have supported the Perth Special Children's Christmas Party since 2010 and are dedicated to giving back to those in need.
