At Clifton Hill Yoga Studio, we have been sharing the transformative power of Iyengar Yoga with our community since 1995. Our studio is home to some of Australia's most experienced Iyengar Yoga teachers, with a combined teaching experience of over 100 years. Our fully qualified and highly experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students at all levels of their yoga journey.

Our Studio

Situated in the heart of Clifton Hill, our studio is a spacious and peaceful sanctuary, perfect for yoga practice. We offer a range of classes and workshops to cater to all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced. Our timetable includes general classes, level 1 classes, transition to level 2, experienced yoga, pranayama, restore and renew, seniors class, slow-paced yoga, women's essentials, specialty classes, minor ailments, and yoga therapy. We are also proud to offer online classes and teacher development and training programs.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services designed to support and empower our students in their yoga practice. Our services include:

  • Beginner Courses: Our beginner courses are designed to teach the foundations of Iyengar Yoga. These courses run for 4 or 5 weeks and are perfect for those new to yoga or those looking to refresh their practice.
  • Level 1 Courses: Our level 1 courses build on the foundations learned in the beginner courses. These classes provide a deeper exploration of Iyengar Yoga postures and practices.
  • Transition to Level 2: Our transition to level 2 classes help students bridge the gap between level 1 and level 2. These classes provide a challenging but supportive environment for students to develop their practice.

  • Restore & Renew: Our restore and renew classes are designed to provide a gentle, relaxing practice that focuses on restoring and renewing the body and mind.
  • Seniors Class: Our seniors class is designed specifically for students over 65 years of age. This class offers a gentle but effective practice that is tailored to the needs of older students.
  • Slow Paced Yoga: Our slow-paced yoga classes offer a more relaxed practice that is perfect for those looking for a gentle and mindful approach to yoga.
  • Women's Essentials: Our women's essentials classes are designed for women, with a focus on practices that support women's health and wellbeing.
  • Specialty Classes: We offer a range of specialty classes, including classes for those with minor ailments and yoga therapy classes.
