Our Services
At Hurt Locker Hybrid Boxing Gym, we offer a variety of services that cater to all fitness levels and interests. Here are some of the programs we offer:
- BoxFit: This is our specialty class, designed to leave you feeling like you have fought 10 rounds with the number one contender of the world. Coordinating with a partner, you will strike and defend in a choreographed sequence designed by our coaches. Consistency and perseverance are key to learning the rhythm and boxing jargon, so be prepared to commit and enjoy the full experience.
- Power HiiT: Combining boxing and strength training at high intensity intervals, our Power HiiT class will help you improve your boxing skills in a challenging fitness environment. Suitable for beginners to advanced levels of fitness.
- Strength & Conditioning: Using our purpose-designed conditioning room, we can challenge all levels of fitness by incorporating strength movements and high intensity intervals. This is the perfect class for creating the ideal fighter.
- Tank Box: Applying the strength and agility of BoxFit to combat, our Tank Box class will help you put it all together. Our coaches are trained to guide you through the transition.
- Foundation Boxing: Designed to assist beginners in all foundations of boxing, this class can also help seasoned boxers by reminding them of the movements needed in the ring.
- Junior Box (6-10): A fun environment for kids to learn boxing skills, improve social behaviors, and become stronger through games and challenging tasks.
- Youth Box (11-16): For the more developed child, this class focuses on creating confident, free-standing adults by teaching them how to construct combos and apply movements taught in the class.
Getting Started
To get started, contact Bron on 0433 567 208 or email info@hurtlocker.com.au to arrange a visit and a session with our Head Coach Daylan at the gym. Parking is available alongside the Hurt Locker building and behind, as well as down Walter St. Please do not park in front of the Wallpaper Store bays or behind the Pet Store and their shed doors. You must bring a towel with you and hire a laundered towel for a gold coin donation if needed. We have high-quality, well-priced gloves available at Hurt Locker. Water and Powerade are available to buy at the gym. Our coaches are also available for private sessions, so don't hesitate to ask about booking one-on-one sessions with our team.
