The Embroiderers' Guild of South Australia Inc is a non-profit organisation that promotes the practice, study, and appreciation of embroidery in all its forms. Our guild offers classes, groups, and events for all levels of stitchers, from beginners to experienced embroiderers. We also have an extensive library and accredited museum. Members can attend stitching groups, access the library, and participate in formal classes with recognised tutors. We aim to provide a friendly, relaxed, and enjoyable environment for young and old to share their love of needle and textile arts. With 11 country branches and over 450 members, we are a vibrant community of embroidery enthusiasts.
The respondents praised the museum's dedication to embroidery and textiles, its welcoming atmosphere, and the resources available to visitors.
