Laidley Golf Club is a picturesque twelve-hole golf course situated adjacent to Lake Dyer, two kilometres from the township of Laidley. The club was officially opened in 1951 as a nine-hole course and was extended to twelve holes in 2002 with the benefit of a Sport & Recreation Grant. The course features seventeen different tees for the eighteen holes for men and eighteen tees for ladies. The competition course has new greens professionally designed by David Burrup and future plans are in place to extend the course to an eighteen-hole golf course. The club also has junior golf, corporate days, and social golf events.
