Services Offered

At Brisbane Knee & Shoulder Clinic, we offer a range of services for the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. Our common surgical treatments include ACL reconstruction after sporting injuries, shoulder reconstruction after dislocations, knee and shoulder arthroscopies, and joint replacement surgery. We prioritise the use of arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to reduce pain and recovery time for our patients.

Dr. Macgroarty specialises in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of sports-related injuries and conditions. Our clinic has arrangements with several radiology providers to enable patients to access scanning services on an urgent basis when necessary. We also provide urgent assessment for sports injuries.

COVID-19 Update

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Brisbane Knee & Shoulder Clinic has implemented strict infection control practices to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We have reduced the number of patients in our waiting room, and we ask that only the patient attends the appointment where possible. We also ask all our patients to ensure they are ready for their appointment and to call to reschedule if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Under the new Medicare guidelines, phone and facetime consultations for patients may be provided for those that meet the criteria. Please call our office for further information.

At Brisbane Knee & Shoulder Clinic, consultations are available by referral from a general practitioner or physiotherapist. Dr. Macgroarty is a preferred provider for many private health funds, and we also offer on-the-spot medicare and private health fund rebates for eligible patients.
