The venue is popular for its roast dinners on Wednesday nights, with a different type of meat offered each week, which has received a five-star rating from Roz Pulsinelli. Similarly, Maree Gower gave the venue a five-star rating for being a great place to meet friends, have a few drinks, play pool, and enjoy a cheap meal.
However, Allan Kelly had a poor experience with the service at the bar, which led him to give a one-star rating and advise against visiting the venue. Eddoras rated the venue four stars, appreciating the cheap beer, darts, snooker, bowls, and friendly staff in a nice location, along with a reasonable membership fee.
