We use a combination of traditional methods and modern machinery to precision machine, dress, and dry our timbers, ensuring that every piece of furniture is meticulously crafted to perfection.
Our Process
We take great pride in our process, which sets us apart from other furniture makers. We start by hand-selecting logs from Sustainable Timber Tasmania (STT), ensuring that our timber is sourced sustainably. We then ship the logs to our yard, where we band-mill them ourselves, giving us complete control over the quality and continuity of our timbers. This allows us to choose and book-match every board to best suit the piece of furniture and the client. In fact, we often have our clients hand-select their own boards to include in their piece of furniture, making every single piece unique and special to the owner.
