Our story began in December 2008 when Jason and Melissa Skinner, a husband-and-wife team, took over the business from the previous owners, Bentley Brett & Vincent, of which Jason was a partner. The name "Skinner Hamilton" was born from the couple's decision to represent the importance they place on their families. Jason's side of the family, the Skinner, and Melissa's family maiden name, Hamilton, came together to form the name.

In the early years, the firm faced the challenges of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and helped numerous small businesses navigate the difficulties. During this period, we implemented our first paperless system, which significantly reduced our environmental impact. We have consistently focused on using the latest technology and systems to deliver fast and efficient services, all while reducing waste and our environmental footprint.

As we continued to grow and develop our team and services, we relocated our base to Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast in 2013. This move provided us with a more accessible and convenient location for our clients. Throughout the years, we have continued to adapt and evolve as a firm, ensuring we stay ahead of the changing business landscape.
