Empower Yourself with Tae Kwon Do
At the University of Queensland (UQ) Taekwondo Club, we are a university martial arts club that accepts adults of all backgrounds - student or not, from beginner to advanced. Our club has a rich history, dating back to 1971, and is the oldest martial arts club at UQ. We are an ITF club affiliated with the Sang Dan style of Tae Kwon Do, which has evolved as an effective martial art. Our focus is on practical self-defence, and our instructors teach a broad range of techniques that actually work on the mats and on the street. We also incorporate some boxing and grappling techniques into our style.
