Welcome to Kent Street Veterinary Clinic, a small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care and friendly service in Deakin, Australian Capital Territory. Established over 40 years ago, we have been an integral part of Canberra's community and take pride in offering the highest standard of compassionate veterinary care for pets.
Dr. Nonna Green, the practice owner and registered veterinary surgeon, has been with us since 2013. Nonna earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Ukraine and has been serving the Canberra community since 1996. With a broad experience from various small animal practices, Nonna has developed a special interest in geriatric and preventative medicine. She is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and a proud mother of two beautiful girls. Nonna shares her home with three beloved cats: Maya, Skylar, and Amira.
Tanya Lyamina, our senior clinical nurse, joined Kent Street Veterinary Clinic in 2020. She is a veterinary surgeon who graduated from Moscow University in 2005 and is currently preparing for the National Veterinary Exams. Tanya takes a significant role in anaesthetic monitoring and owns two big furry puppy dogs. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys horse riding, reading, and canine medicine.
Tammy Elliston, our nurse, joined our team in 2022 after completing Certificate III in Animal Care Services at the Canberra Institute of Technology. She is currently studying Certificate IV: Veterinary Nursing. Tammy has a passion for taking care of animals and has worked in early childhood education for many years. She enjoys walking, recreational gym classes, and spending time with her three active and beautiful boys, a Chihuahua, and many Netherland Dwarf Rabbits.
Gillian Gamble, our receptionist, joined Kent Street Veterinary Clinic after retiring from a career in education. Gillian has been a long-time client of ours and brings her experience as a client with her dog, Honey, and cat, Lola. Outside of her profession, Gillian has an interest in ceramics and painting.
