Located at 1/449 Graham Street, Port Melbourne, our club was founded in 2012, the year of the Black Dragon. Our family-run club is operated by Neal & Ebony Withington, along with the help of their children. With over 30 years of experience in Taekwondo, Neal has a deep understanding of the benefits of martial arts training and has previously owned and operated his own club.
At Black Dragon Taekwondo, we teach more than just Taekwondo and self-defense techniques. We reinforce the values that you, as parents, are teaching your children, such as courtesy and respect for all people, integrity for oneself, perseverance in order to reach personal and academic goals, and self-control, which stresses the value of learning to think before reacting. Along with these values, we also reinforce personal goal setting, which helps our students to excel in Taekwondo, fitness, and other areas of life.
Our club is built on a strong family foundation, and we believe that families who work and study together become stronger and happier. However, for the single person, we provide a great team atmosphere and an opportunity to meet new people while building self-confidence and self-esteem.
