Located in Alligator Creek, 20 minutes drive south of Townsville, our spectacular property features a massive open-sided country-themed building with beautiful wooden framework and rustic interior.
Our History
The Melville family has been in the hospitality and entertainment industry for over 60 years. Our story began as a social shed for get-togethers and gradually expanded into a family-orientated open venue with a wool barn shed feel. By popular demand, this then developed into the unique Aussie-style tavern you see today. Our family's experience in hospitality is wide and varied, from purchasing carriages to riding the Cowboys mascot for seven years at home games.
