Check-in and Check-out Procedures
In some cases, the check-in and check-out procedures were a bit unconventional. Author Shaun Blamire mentioned that the reception had limited hours, so it's essential to be aware of the check-in opening times. Similarly, Author Beatrice Mok mentioned that the hotel had a quirky system where the key would be left in a designated spot for collection.
Cleanliness and Maintenance
While some guests were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, others had issues. Author Daina Byrne was pleasantly surprised by the super clean room she had, with crisp white bed sheets and a modern bathroom. On the other hand, Author Toh Layhong was appalled by the flooded carpet flooring in his room, making it a disgusting environment to stay in.
Facilities and Amenities
The hotel's location was a major drawcard for many guests. It's within walking distance to the town, beach, and various amenities. However, Author Gina Fischer mentioned that the door knobs automatically lock from the outside, which made her feel uncomfortable.
Staff and Service
While some staff members were praised for their helpfulness and professionalism, others were found to be less accommodating. Author Ying Huang was unhappy with the reception staff, who refused to accommodate their request to check out at 11 am instead of 10 am. However, Author Despina Dourvou and Author Belinda O'Keefe raved about the helpful and friendly staff.
