At Park Beach Early Learning Centre, we believe that a centre should be a happy place, where children laugh, play, have fun, and where children can be children. Our centre is a purpose-built environment where children can explore their interests, make new friends, and develop into proactive, independent learners.

Our qualified educators have extensive experience in child care and are always happy to provide feedback on development, behaviour, and learning. We know that our families have the most detailed knowledge in regards to their own children, and we feel privileged when they choose to share this most significant time with us.

As a privately owned, family-oriented long day care child care centre, we are dedicated to providing high-quality learning programs for children from 18 months to 5 years. Our centre is approved and offers fee subsidies to eligible parents through the Federal Government's Child Care Benefit and Rebate Schemes.

Our Philosophy

At Park Beach Early Learning Centre, we believe that children learn best through play. Our curriculum is based on the premise that children are naturally curious about their environment, and that through play in a well-arranged and regularly enriched environment, children learn about themselves and their capabilities.

Our approach is guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework, which defines play-based learning as: "A context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects, and representations."

Our educators understand the importance of supporting children's individual learning styles, and work collaboratively with parents to provide opportunities for discovery learning through self-selected activities. We believe in positive reinforcement of appropriate behaviour, allowing children to develop self-discipline and parent-supported value systems.

Our Centres

We cater for children from 18 months to 5 years, with high-quality learning programs provided for each age group. Our centres are designed to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and develop.

The Starfish Room

The Starfish Room is designed for children from 18 months to 3 years. We ensure that these little ones feel welcome and comfortable through affection, respect, and reassurance.

The Dolphins Room

The Dolphins Room is for children from 3 to 4 years. We work closely with these children every day to help them grow and develop into independent young people.

The Whales Room

The Whales Room is for children from 4 to 5 years. We prepare these children for their transition to more formal styles of education, providing a strong foundation for their future learning.

Immunisation Requirements

We believe in the importance of immunisation in preventing the spread of diseases. Unvaccinated children due to their parents' conscientious objection are no longer able to be enrolled in our centre. Children who cannot be fully vaccinated due to a medical condition or who are on a recognised catch-up schedule may still be enrolled upon presentation of the appropriate form signed by a medical practitioner.
