Life is better when you're dancing!

Janelle's School of Dance is a renowned institution, providing expert dance and ballet classes to children across the South-Eastern Suburbs. With 4 exciting locations in Seaford, Beaumaris, Parkdale, and Mornington, we strive to bring the joy of dance to a wide range of children. Our mission is to make every dance class a sunshine-filled experience, fostering a love for the Art of Dance in each student. We believe that life is better when you're dancing, and we aim to make ballet the best time of our students' day.

Classes for All Ages

We offer a wide array of classes catering to children of all ages, from 2-year-olds to adults. Our Mums & Bubs classes are designed for 2-2.5-year-olds to enjoy a special dance experience with their parents or grandparents. We also offer Ballet Classes for Kids, Jazz Dance Classes for Kids, and classes for adults. Our adult ballet classes, including Over 50 Adult Ballet, provide an excellent opportunity for adults to learn or rediscover the joy of ballet.

Locations and Service Areas

Our main location is at Talbot Hall, Senior Citizens Hall, 2-6R Broughton Road, Seaford, situated next door to the Seaford Community Centre and directly behind the Seaford Village Shopping Centre on Nepean Highway. We also have locations in Beaumaris, Parkdale, and Mornington, serving children from Seaford, Carrum Downs, Carrum, Patterson Lakes, Chelsea, Frankston, Edithvale, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Beaumaris, Parkdale, Mentone, Mornington Peninsula, and all areas in between.

Adult Ballet Classes - Over 50 Adult Ballet

We are thrilled to introduce the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance's Silver Swans program, offering Ballet classes for adults over 50. These group classes are led by a trained instructor who provides verbal instructions and visual cues. Dancing as a low-impact structured and improvised movement with music is an effective way to exercise, promoting stability, coordination, and mobility. Research shows that dance programs motivate people to engage in regular activity, offering numerous health benefits, including improved longevity, balance, core strength, and coordination, with a reduction in falls and a lower risk of dementia.

Dance for Health and Well-being

Dance significantly contributes to social connectedness, mental health, and well-being, while improving physical condition and cognitive acuity. Inside every dancer is a beginner that fell in love, and we invite you to join us in sharing the joy of dance.
