Ambience and Service
The establishment has a nice and relaxed atmosphere, with polite and attentive staff. The waitstaff were lovely, knowledgeable, and accommodating, making sure customers felt comfortable and attended to. The venue itself is beautifully located by the water, offering a great view.
Food and Drinks
The food was a mixed bag, with some dishes impressing and others disappointing. The calamari entree was cooked perfectly, and the bao was excellent, moist, and satisfying. However, the dumplings were a letdown, being small and flat for the price. The fish and chips were inedible due to the thick, uncooked batter. The cocktails, on the other hand, were magnificent, with the Sex Wax cocktail being highly recommended.
Issues and Concerns
There were several issues with the food, including undercooked and inedible dishes, small portions, and unexpected ingredients like chicken feathers and bones. The service was also inconsistent, with some staff being apologetic and attentive, while others were careless and rude. Some customers experienced long wait times for their food, and there was a issue with cricket on the floor.
Value for Money
Some customers felt that the prices were not justified by the quality of the food and service. The dumplings, in particular, were overpriced for the small portion size. However, others felt that the atmosphere and service made up for any shortcomings in the food.
