Welcome to Cape Executive Holiday Properties, a new and exciting holiday accommodation management business located in the heart of Dunsborough. Owned and operated by husband and wife team Paul and Karen Dean, our mission is to provide the utmost professional service to our guests from your initial enquiry to the end of your holiday.
Having spent numerous holidays in the South West, Paul and Karen always talked about relocating and needing a 'Change of Pace'. So, in September 2004, Paul and Karen moved the family from Perth to Dunsborough. Since then, Paul has continued to operate his successful sub-contracting painting business, while Karen has implemented her office management skills working part-time in the holiday accommodation industry.
In July 2007, a fantastic opportunity arose to purchase an executive holiday properties portfolio from Jennings Hopkins Realty, Dunsborough. The executive holiday properties portfolio has a superb collection of properties from luxurious coastal and rural retreats, to elegant apartments and townhouses, and the quintessential beach cottage. Paul, Karen, and the team strongly believe that the personal approach to short-stay accommodation benefits our guests and our property owners.

Poor Customer Service
There are several instances where customers have reported receiving poor customer service from Cape Executive. Author Nick Boots was given a review stating that the property was "misused" and "rules ignored" after he spent many hours cleaning the property, despite having paid a significant fee for professional cleaners. Author Nitasha H. was also unhappy with the customer service, stating that the team was not open to feedback and was aggressive and rude. Author Craig Moroney reported being accused of damage they did not do, and was still receiving rude messages from the company days later.
Unreliable Bookings
Author Jennifer Arias had her booking cancelled two weeks prior to a long weekend, despite having booked months in advance and paid in full. Author Victor Nottas's review did not mention any issues with the booking process, but it's worth noting that it only received 4 stars. Authors Daryll Smith and Graciela Gibson were, however, very happy with their booking experiences.
Mixed Reviews on Property Quality
Some authors have had positive experiences with the properties, such as Victor Nottas, who found the Old Dunsborough Beach House to be well-appointed and the deck area to be excellent. Authors Daryll Smith and Graciela Gibson also reported being very happy with their properties. However, Author Tania Parsons reported finding one bedroom to be not as clean as the rest of the property, and Author Eliezer Ugas had issues with the cancellation of his booking without explanation.
