Shed Delivery Issues
- A customer, Ben P., had a terrible experience with EasyShed. He ordered a shed on July 1, 2024, and it had not been delivered by July 31, 2024. The shed was not made to order until July 17, 2024, and it takes 3-4 days to make. This means the shed would not be delivered until over a month after the order was placed. Ben P. was not happy with EasyShed, stating the quoted time of 5-15 days for delivery was unrealistic.
- Sarah had a similar issue. She ordered a shed and received an email notification that it had been dispatched from the factory in Albury on May 16, 2024, with an expected delivery date of May 20, 2024. However, the shed was still in Albury on May 31, 2024. Sarah rang EasyShed on May 27, 2024, and was told that the shed would be delivered by May 31, 2024, but it never happened. Sarah had to cancel her order and lost her money due to a "restocking fee."
- Philip Guildea ordered a shed at the start of October and was promised a 14-day delivery. However, by January 10th, the shed had still not been delivered. EasyShed's customer service was non-existent, and they made several excuses for the missing shed. Philip Guildea would not recommend this company and questioned why they advertise a 14-day delivery if they cannot deliver.
Poor Quality of Sheds
- Peter received a shed that was already rust pitted and missing parts. After four months, it was very rust pitted, and Peter doubted it would last more than five to ten years.
- David Jones found the shed very hard to assemble, as the panels were not identified with color-coded stickers, screw holes were not pre-drilled, and the bottom channel length did not match the panel length when assembled. David had to trim or bend the side panel to fit the channel, which he thought should have been done at the factory.
