Empowering Dancers, One Step at a Time

At Spot On Dance Studio, we are dedicated to motivating and inspiring individuals through the art of dance, regardless of age or ability. Our qualified teachers provide quality instruction in a fun, positive, and friendly environment, fostering learning and encouraging progress. Our classes have a structured approach, where instructors not only teach the principles of dance but also instill principles of life such as discipline, teamwork, and respect. Our staff has a true passion for teaching and choreographing and finds joy in inspiring young dancers to work hard and dream big.

Our Staff

  • Jazlyn Hyder (Owner/Director): Jazlyn grew up in Roosevelt, Utah, and is trained in various dance styles, including Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Point, Acrobatic Tumbling, Ballroom, and Hip-Hop. She has won numerous solo titles, such as Miss Dance/Drill Team Utah, Dance/Drill USA Nations Grand Solo Champion, Stars National Professional soloist, and Battle of the Queens Over-All Winner. Jazlyn has a degree in Dance Education from Utah Valley University and is certified in Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. She enjoys teaching and choreographing for numerous Drill Teams and Studios throughout Utah. Jazlyn opened Spot On Dance Studio to share her passion for dance and inspire young dancers.
  • Jordan Walker: Jordan has been dancing since she was 3 and has a passion for dance and teaching. She is currently getting a degree in Elementary Education. Dance has given her many opportunities, including being a member of the Drill Team and president of the Theatre Club. Jordan has choreographed award-winning solos and team routines and has been nominated for Best Choreography awards. When Jordan isn't dancing, she enjoys crafting, video games, sewing, knitting, and playing with her adorable fur babies. She has been recently married and is excited to start teaching and inspiring the youth through dance.
  • Kenzi McMullin: Kenzi was raised in the Basin and has a little boy named Ridge. In high school, Kenzi was a Union High Cougarette for 3 years and loved being part of the team. She is looking forward to sharing her talents with us at Spot On Dance Studio.
  • Julia Lamb (Ballet Director): Julia is from Toronto, Canada, and began dancing at the age of 4. She completed exams in R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus, earning honors at each level. Julia studied at the Dancers Studio and then was accepted at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet school of professional division.
  • Kristena Hunsaker (Ballet Instructor): Kristena moved to Roosevelt last year when her husband received a job as a coach and teacher at Union. She is originally from Price, Utah, and started dancing at the age of 7. She has always had a love for ballet from the beginning and danced at USU Eastern as a junior in high school. She excelled in Carbon High Drill Team and served as Ballet Technician and Drill Mistress, teaching and inspiring young dancers.
