At Penmans, we have a rich history of providing legal services to the Central Coast community since 1946. Our legacy began with Neville Penman, who established the firm at Long Jetty in 1946. With a strong focus on building relationships with our clients and delivering quality legal services, we have been privileged to serve the community for over seven decades.

Our History

Our story began when Neville Penman, a young solicitor, established the firm in 1946. With a background in articling to EW Johnson of Johnson & Sendall of Goulburn, Neville was admitted as a solicitor in 1938. After working with a few reputable firms, including Phillips & Co, Yass, he joined the Australian Army in 1942. On his discharge, he returned to Phillips & Co before renting his first office in Gosford in late 1947, marking the beginning of Penmans.

We act in civil, commercial, and building disputes. While many are resolved without the need for litigation, we will be in your corner if court becomes necessary.

Public Notary

We have an Accredited Specialist in Property Law and offer Public Notary services to our clients.
