Welcome to Colonial Catering, located at 34 Lake Apex Drive, Gatton Qld Australia. Our team is led by qualified chef Fiona Smith and qualified baker David Smith, who together bring over 25 years of experience in the industry. We are passionate about providing delicious and professional catering services for all types of functions in South East Queensland. At Colonial Catering, we pride ourselves on using the freshest local produce from the Lockyer Valley for all our homemade menu items.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to suit any event, from home dinners to weddings, corporate events, and more. Our mobile food van is fully equipped with everything we need to cook on site, ensuring the freshest menu possible. We also supply real crockery, cutlery, and a tea and coffee station to most packages at no extra cost. Our bar staff are available to serve your pre-purchased alcohol for an hourly rate.

Menu Packages & Pricing

We have a variety of menu packages to choose from, ranging from our Farmers (Country) menu to our Exquisite (Elegant) menu. Our Farmers menu includes items such as sausage rolls, mini pies, and chicken legs or wings, while our Exquisite menu features options such as sushi, arancini balls, and fillet mignon. We also offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options on request.

For larger functions or customized menus, please email us at functions@colonial-cafe.com.au to discuss drop-off only options or prices. We also have hire equipment available with bookings, including wine glasses, linens, and tables.

Booking Terms and Conditions

To confirm your booking date, a non-refundable booking fee of $200 is required. This fee covers all extra costs and protects you from price increases that may fall during the booking period. A receipt will be forwarded to you to confirm your booking and its details when paid. The hire of extra items must be ordered at least a month before your event to guarantee the color of runners or sashes that you require.
