Dicko's Engineering is a well-established company that has been specialising in welding, general fabrication, mining, mine spec vehicles, and heavy vehicle repairs for over a decade. Our directors, led by Managing Director Dwayne Dickson, are proud of their reputation for professionalism and high-quality workmanship. We have built strong relationships with some of Mackay's largest mining companies, and we continue to work hard to maintain our reputation by delivering projects on time and on budget.

Our company has evolved significantly since its inception, and we have expanded our services to cater to the growing demands of the mining and civil projects in the greater Mackay region. We are an Authorised Distributor of CIGWELD products, including TIG welders and Automated Plasmas, and we also distribute MINE SPEC and standard ute trays and internal ROPS. This enables us to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients, from design and fabrication to installation and maintenance.

Our Services

At Dicko's Engineering, we offer a range of services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. Our fabrication services include the creation of fully certified safety stands for any application, steel transport stands for engines, hydraulic cylinders, and various other components. We also specialise in all equipment panel repairs, from rust repairs to complete laser-cut replacement parts. Our design and fabrication services include drive-in stick rakes and canopies for dozers, as well as the mine-specification of light vehicles, including ute trays, internal ROPS, electrical upgrades, and suspension upgrades.

In addition, we offer full mine-specification services for heavy earthmoving equipment, including general mine site fabrication, such as towable pump skids, signs, and underground pump protection rings. Our refurbishment services include the refabrication of earthmoving blades and buckets, as well as track frames for Caterpillar dozers. We also provide certification services for mobile equipment rims.
