Our Experience
St Nicodemus Funerals is an independent, Australian-owned and family-operated funeral home. It was established by John Iskander in 2009, predominantly to assist the Coptic Orthodox community. Over the years, St Nicodemus Funerals has had the honour and blessing of servicing the broader Christian denominations.

Our services include burial, cremation, and repatriation, all of which are carried out with the utmost care and professionalism. Our Location
We operate all over Sydney and the Greater Region. Our office is located in Kingsgrove, where families are welcome to make an appointment to arrange a funeral, alternatively, we can organise a meeting at the family home or in another location that best suits. We are flexible and work around what best suits the family at their time of grief.

The story of Nicodemus and Jesus is the inspiration and heart's passion behind St Nicodemus Funerals Services. Nicodemus, along with Joseph of Arimathea, lovingly took down the Holy Body of Christ from the cross after the crucifixion. This extraordinary act of love and honour that Nicodemus expresses towards Christ at the time of burial gives depth of meaning and purpose to our service. At St Nicodemus Funerals, we treat every person with the honour, care, and dignity that was exemplified by Nicodemus, hence the name of our funeral home.
