Understanding Occupational Therapy (OT)
Occupational Therapy (OT) empowers children to develop the skills necessary for daily life activities. These activities, or "occupations, " encompass self-care (such as dressing and toileting), school tasks (like handwriting and paying attention), and play. Our occupational therapists work closely with children to improve their motor, sensory, cognitive, and social skills, enabling them to participate more fully and independently in their daily lives. Through tailored interventions and strategies, we support your child's growth and unlock their full potential.
Choosing Paediatric Potentials OT
At Paediatric Potentials OT, we offer a Tailored Approach that links your child's learning goals to their interests and values, fostering motivation and ongoing development. We pride ourselves on providing Holistic Services, accommodating various funding sources such as Early Intervention (Medicare's Better Start for Children with Disability Initiative and Helping Children with Autism), Other Medicare Plans, Private Health, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are committed to Accessibility, enabling families to access our services without a referral from a doctor or paediatrician. We are a registered NDIS provider and undergo a Certification Audit every 18 months to maintain the highest level of registration and deliver services to any child, irrespective of complexity.
