Led by our principal podiatrist, M'lane Field, who has over 20 years of experience in the field, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

M'lane Field has been joined by Beth Roberts, another highly experienced podiatrist with over 12 years of experience. At Balmain Podiatry, we take great pride in the expertise and care we provide to our patients. ALL OUR STAFF ARE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19.

At Balmain Podiatry, we treat a wide range of foot and ankle problems. If it's below the knee and it hurts, then we can help. Here are some of the commonly treatable conditions and problems that we deal with:

What to Expect

A consultation usually lasts 30 minutes in which we address your major foot concerns. It helps us to treat you more effectively if you bring in any footwear or scans (e.g. X-ray) that you feel may relate to your foot concerns. We have reception ready to take your appointment 5 days a week during office hours on 95551413. Please note that cancellation fees are applicable if 24 hours notice is not issued prior to cancelling an appointment.

Our Podiatrists

M'lane Field is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW) and the Australasian Podiatry Council. She has practised in all aspects of Podiatry in Sydney's Inner West for the last 30 years. M'lane is a caring professional that takes great pride in delivering the highest quality care for her patients. M'lane is available for consultation Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Beth Roberts is a dedicated Podiatrist whose expertise spans general foot care through to biomechanics and gait analysis as well as nail surgery. Beth is highly experienced in all aspects of Podiatry with over 12 years in Podiatric practice. Alongside extensive expertise with all age groups, Beth enjoys treating the many and varied foot conditions that children can present with. Beth has the ability to transfer knowledge and expertise to the general public in a gentle and caring way.

M'lane and Beth keep up with the latest developments in the practice of Podiatry and are committed to ongoing professional development. They are Registered Providers for the Department of Veterans' Affairs and the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC).

Claiming with Your Health Fund

We use HICAPS to help you claim your rebate from your private health fund on the spot. As this rebate varies widely between funds, we suggest you call your fund directly to find out what your podiatric entitlements are.

If you have an Enhanced Primary Care Plan Referral (EPC) from your doctor, then we can help you claim your rebate with Medicare. This referral is at the discretion of your doctor.
