Feet are the foundations of the human body

At Finding Wellbeing, we are dedicated to providing Art Therapy and creative methods in counselling and psychotherapy. Our team of master's-trained Art Therapists are committed to supporting individuals of all ages who are facing mental health challenges, disability, neurodivergence, trauma, and more.

Our Services

We offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our services include:

  • Studio Art Therapy & Counselling: Our Yellow Gum Art Therapy Studio, located in Mill Park, Victoria, offers a safe and comfortable space for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions through art. We offer individual Art Therapy & Counselling sessions for all ages, Monday to Thursday, with the added benefit of therapy dog Evie present for sessions.
  • Small Group Art Therapy: We offer small group Art Therapy sessions for small family groups on a case-by-case basis. Currently, we have a Monday afternoon group for neurodivergent adults.
  • Telehealth Art Therapy & Counselling: We understand that accessing mental health support can be challenging for some individuals. That's why we offer Art Therapy sessions conducted via Zoom, or via phone if preferred, increasing accessibility for those with fatigue, barriers to travel, and those living further away. We offer Telehealth Art Therapy & Counselling sessions Australia-wide.
  • Therapy Dog Assisted Therapy Sessions: Evie, our certified Therapy Dog, is available for individual therapy sessions at our studio, Monday to Thursday. Evie can also provide comfort through site visits to health services, hospitals, group homes, or community facilities. Unfortunately, Evie does not visit during 1:1 art therapy sessions.
  • Art Therapy Supervision: We offer Art Therapy supervision with Alana Stewart, a Registered Art Therapist & Supervisor, for Art Therapy & Creative Therapist professionals. Our supervision sessions provide an opportunity for professionals to reflect on their practice, develop confidence, and look after their professional self. Sessions are conducted via Zoom or located in our studio.
  • Home Visits for NDIS Participants: Our Art Therapists can visit NDIS participants in their own homes, including supported independent living group housing, for individual sessions. We currently offer home visits in the Mill Park area.
  • School Visits: We offer individual Art Therapy for children conveniently at their school environment. Our Art Therapists work with children to explore their thoughts and emotions, promoting mental health and wellbeing.
  • Yellow Gum Forest Therapy: Our accredited and certified forest therapy guide offers guided walks in nature, promoting relaxation and immersion in the natural environment. We currently offer private walks and corporate events on Friday's to Sunday's in the Whittlesea council area. Join our newsletter for upcoming public events.

At Finding Wellbeing, we welcome people of all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, faiths, and abilities. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, and recognise their continuing culture and spiritual practices. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their Elders past, present, and emerging. We acknowledge that Aboriginal sovereignty was never ceded.
