At A Taste of Italy, we're proud to be a part of the Clifton Beach community, serving up authentic Italian cuisine to locals and visitors alike for over 18 years. Our little Italian restaurant has been delighting locals with its award-winning pizzas, anti-pasto share plates, freshly prepared pastas, seafood, salads, and desserts. Our family-focused restaurant extends its hospitality to you and your guests to sit, eat, talk, and enjoy.
Our Story
In 2002, our founder Roberto opened the doors to his pizza shop in the Clifton Beach Shopping Centre, bringing a taste of Italy to the region. A few years later, Mario and Silvia took over, building on Roberto's success and adding table service and a liquor license. They renamed the restaurant A Taste of Italy, perfecting dishes featuring fresh local seafood and finding great local produce for excellent Napoli sauce, refreshingly crisp salads, and satisfying antipasti dishes. In 2016, we were delighted to be voted as the best pizza by our locals, for which we say grazie mille! Since then, we've been doing what we do best; hand-making our doughs and pasta, while ensuring the freshest and tastiest ingredients are used in every single dish.

Our friendly team is dedicated to providing service with a smile to all our regulars and visitors, ensuring that every guest has an authentic Italian taste experience with high-quality food that's prepared by hand every day using the recipes and techniques handed down over generations.
