Our Story

RLMS is a Queensland-based environmental, mapping, and land management consultancy established in 1990 by Ross Skerman. Ross established RLMS to fill what he saw as a gap in the market for a consultancy that delivered results. The company has grown since its initial days, but Ross has always worked on the philosophy of maintaining a small group of employees who are experienced and technical experts in their fields.

Our Expertise

RLMS covers the project spectrum from planning through to State and Federal government approvals, including land access, compensation, environmental impact statements, and work schedules for clients ranging from entrepreneurs to major corporations, from start-ups to government agencies, and state significant projects such as Queensland's LNG giants. Services cover all facets of the resources industries from sourcing raw materials, power, water, and land, to delivering the projects products by road, rail, pipeline, or transmission grid to the export terminal or domestic consumer base. RLMS' GIS system plays a significant role in collating a vast array of in-house data for display on a proprietary alignment sheet system used from project inception, through approvals and construction stages to operating the infrastructure system for its projected life.

Our Projects

RLMS has been involved in a number of significant projects, including the SUN LNG Project, ZeroGen Project, and the Queensland Hunter Gas Pipeline.
