Situated between the magnificent Northern Illawarra Escarpment and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Russell Vale Golf Club offers a unique and picturesque golfing experience. Affectionately known as "The Vale", our golf course combines a mixture of Par 3's, four Par 4's and a challenging Par 5, providing memorable holes that cater to golfers at all levels.
Our course is relatively short and is designed to offer an enjoyable three and a half hours of golf. After your game, we invite you to join us in our welcoming clubhouse for your favourite drop and post-game banter. Our members are always happy to show you the way across the beautiful escarpment with stunning views of the ocean.
Membership Benefits
The Vale is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a wonderful variety of members, from young to old, of various skill levels, all enjoying the game we love. Becoming a member at The Vale offers you an affordable option with our 'pay as you play' approach to golf competitions which are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Social golf fees apply to games outside our normal competitions. Membership at The Vale is also a perfect choice for those who are a little stretched for time, with our course offering a quick three and a half hours to complete 18 holes.
We welcome applications from new members and look forward to seeing you at The Vale. Membership categories include Adult, Pensioner, Intermediate (18-25yrs), Junior (12-17yrs), and Cadet (8-11yrs). Our Social Membership Application Form is available until June 2025.
Golf: Rules, Codes of Conduct, and Competitions
At The Vale, we take golf seriously. We have rules, codes of conduct, and appropriate attire in place to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and fair game. For those interested, we also offer Juniors Programs. Our competitions vary and include stroke, stableford, par, foursomes (all the variations), fourball, and eclectic. We play Ready Golf at The Vale, and our local rules include 'out of bounds', 'no play zones', and 'pace of play'.
