At George Turnure - Clinical Psychologist, our team is dedicated to providing you with a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment to explore your mental health concerns. As a clinical psychologist, I work with individuals of all ages, from adolescents to adults, to help them cope with a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and psychosis.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our approach is based on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. We work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.
Our services are tailored to address a variety of concerns, including:
- Depression and anxiety disorders, such as social anxiety, generalized anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, and agoraphobia
- Trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Psychosis and complex trauma
- Physical health issues, including chronic pain, tinnitus, and cancer-related mental health concerns
- Trichotillomania and skin picking
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that developing a strong working relationship with my clients is crucial to their journey towards recovery. I take a patient and non-judgmental approach, using a range of interventions and strategies to help individuals understand and manage their mental health concerns. I also work closely with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.

About Me
I hold a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree from the University of Wollongong and have completed six years of higher education, including a four-year Honors degree in Psychology from the University of New South Wales. I am a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
Appointments, Fees, and Cancellations
Our appointments are 50 minutes long and can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on individual circumstances. We also offer telehealth sessions via video or phone. Our fees are $250 per appointment, with a Medicare rebate available with a Mental Health Care Plan. To cancel or change an appointment, please contact us 48 hours prior to your scheduled booking, and to avoid a 100% cancellation fee.
