Poor Experience at Jesmond Hotel
A string of disappointed guests have expressed their discontent with the Jesmond Hotel, stating numerous issues with the cleanliness, staff, and general service provided.
Dirty Rooms and Unprofessional Staff
The guests reported that the rooms were not cleaned properly, with hair and dirt found on the floors and furniture, and remnants of food left on the couch. Some guests also experienced issues with shared facilities and rooms not being ready on time.
The staff was described as unprofessional, with one guest having a cleaner open their door randomly without knocking or apologizing. Another guest reported being left outside in the heat while waiting for a room change.
Poor Attention to Detail and Safety Concerns
A guest was woken up in the middle of the night when another guest entered their room through an unlocked interconnecting door. The guest was offered no compensation and had to move to another room. Another guest reported finding dog hairs and sticky substances on the couch and crockery not being cleaned.
