Art Therapy
Art therapy is a form of counselling that uses art materials to communicate thoughts and feelings. It can be a more comfortable way of engaging in psychotherapy, especially for those who find it difficult to put their feelings into words. The process of making art can help you to think about your problems differently, become aware of links and associations between different issues in your life, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. You do not need any artistic skills or experience to use art therapy.
Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment without judgement. By recognising and acknowledging our thoughts and feelings, we can decide whether or not they are helpful to us.
